Gravure printing ink is a bit different from flexographic ink. It is also known as rotogravure ink. This ink transfers the engraved image to an image carrier and prints the content on the given label of any kind of box or packet. Here the image is transferred to the cylinder and this feature is similar to the one that is done during offset printing. In this kind of process a rotary printing press is used. Today gravure printing ink is also used in many tasks like doing printing of magazines and as well as catalogs. This procedure is much cheap in cost than other printing ink methods.
